At Yampa Valley Made, we believe that the best bread begins long before the oven is preheated—it begins in the soil. Founded by an artisan baker with a deep respect for the traditional craft, our micro-bakery is dedicated to showcasing the rugged, complex flavors of the Rocky Mountain West. 

We exclusively use stone-ground heritage grains from Roaring Fork Mill, honoring the integrity of Colorado’s local grain economy. By utilizing long, cold fermentations and baking in the thin, dry air of Steamboat Springs, we produce small-batch sourdough with a shattering crust and a rich, malty depth. For us, bread isn't just a staple; it’s a way to connect our neighbors to the land, the farmer, and the ancient art of high-altitude baking.
