Grains From the Plains by Sunflower Acres is a truly family farm, with all family members participating. We are located on the Colorado Plains near Hugo.

We hand deliver grains to your door to most areas of the Colorado Front Range. At Grains From the Plains, we are dedicated to organic and sustainable practices. We are presently raising millet, two modern hybrid wheat varieties, Scout 66, and Turkey Red Heirloom Wheat.

This month Colorado’s Commissioner of Agriculture, Kate Greenberg, and Governor of Colorado, Jared Polis, made a visit to Grains from the Plains, located in Hugo, Colorado. The Poss family have been longtime Colorado Grain Chain members, raising a family actively involved in Colorado’s local grain community.
