Odd Bird Baking Co. was founded in 2017 as an outlet for Rachel Curran's creativity after leaving her decade-long career as a pastry chef when becoming a mother. Odd Bird is a craft bakery in Durango, CO focusing on pastries, cakes and pies that are slightly "outside-the-box." We are vendors in our local farmer's market as well as baking pastries for Still Life Coffee, among other wholesale accounts. Being active and contributing members of our community and local economy are central values to our business and we are always looking to collaborate with local businesses and bake with local ingredients - with grains being our main focus as we are growing and evolving.
Products & Services
We offer scratch made pastries to our wholesale accounts as well as participating in our local farmers markets. All of our products use all-purpose flour from either Roaring Fork Mill or Mountain Oven. We also use rye and whole wheat flour from Mountain Mama (Gosar Natural Foods).
