Lazy Day Farm
Farm
Lazy Day Farm is a multi-generational farm in Yuma, Colorado, where the family has been farming on the same land since 1946. Today, they raise a mix of irrigated and dryland crops, including wheat, corn, and sunflowers, while also proactively exploring new and even non-traditional opportunities in specialty grains and heirloom corn varieties.

Over the past several years, Lazy Day Farm has trialed black-eyed peas, chickpeas, heirloom and specialty corn varieties, and more. Their operational and crop selection approach balances generations of farming experience with a desire to innovate and adapt to changing markets and growing conditions.

Lazy Day Farm is especially interested in partnerships that support innovative grain projects across Colorado. Please reach out if you’re interested in sourcing grain or exploring creative partnerships.
