Alpine Valley Mushrooms is a family-owned, certified organic mushroom farm that uses local Colorado grains to grow their mushrooms. We’re deep believers in supporting organic farmers to strengthen our soil food web as well as the health of our ecosystems. Through standards in place and collaboration with other certified organic farmers, we’re able to grow the highest quality and most localized mushrooms we can! One of our mantras is “You are what your mushrooms eat,” hence why we only feed our mushrooms organic substrates that lead to high quality fruiting bodies free from heavy metals and any potential biocides that could be present!

We offer our mushrooms online through Valley Roots Food Hub. In stores you can find them in Alamosa at SLV Apothecary. In Crestone at The Elephant Cloud Market and the Crestone Mercantile. We also sell at Saguache Works health food store in Saguache. Lastly we are at the Salida Farmers Market Saturdays 8am-12pm through October!
