With a decade of experience as a regenerative vegetable and flower farmer and a career in food systems project management, Madalene brings a deep commitment to environmental stewardship, food security, and resilient local economies.

High Desert Bagels was founded on the belief that grain is the foundation of community. By sourcing directly from Colorado farmers and mills, the bakery not only elevates flavor and quality but also strengthens regional grain networks.
