This decision stems from our desire to remove financial barriers and make our network truly accessible to everyone who shares our passion for local grains, whether you're an established business, a cottage food baker just starting out, an experimenting farmer, or simply someone who values Colorado grown grains.

Dear Colorado Grain Chain Members and Friends,

We are thrilled to share some exciting news that reflects our commitment to building a stronger and more accessible local grain economy throughout Colorado.

A Big Change: Complimentary Membership for Businesses & Consumers

After careful consideration and community feedback, we are proud to announce that the Colorado Grain Chain is transitioning from a paid membership dues structure to complimentary membership for all Colorado farms, businesses, and consumers that align with our mission.

This decision stems from our desire to remove financial barriers and make our network truly accessible to everyone who shares our passion for local grains, whether you're an established business, a cottage food baker just starting out, an experimenting farmer, or simply someone who values Colorado grown grains.

We believe this change will make the Colorado Grain Chain even stronger and more capable to cultivate impact across our regional food systems.

Honoring Our Roots

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all current and past members who have been and continue to be instrumental in shaping the Colorado Grain Chain. Your support, dedication, and contributions have built the foundation of our growing movement for a local grain economy. We deeply appreciate your continued commitment to our shared mission.

Our Mission Remains Strong

As we make this transition, our core purpose remains unchanged:

Mission: The Colorado Grain Chain is a membership-based non-profit organization that seeks to grow and connect a vibrant community-centered grain economy in the state of Colorado.

Vision: Our vision is for every household, food and beverage supplier, and maker in Colorado to use and value locally grown grains. We want Colorado-grown grains used in craft beers, artisan spirits, in kitchens, and on menus everywhere people live and gather.

Looking Ahead

While membership will now be complimentary, we're developing new and exciting opportunities for businesses, partners, and individuals to support our work. Stay tuned for details on these upcoming initiatives, and consider making a donation today to help us continue building Colorado's grain economy.

To ensure we continue serving our community effectively, we will be asking all members to complete a brief annual survey. This feedback will be invaluable in helping us understand your needs, measure our impact, and continuously improve our programs and services.

Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Together, we're cultivating a stronger, more connected Colorado grain community.

Warmly,
The Colorado Grain Chain Team
