Denver Food Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit in Denver, Colorado. Our mission is to produce health equity within Denver neighborhoods. We recover surplus fresh food that would otherwise go to waste from grocery stores, food wholesalers, and farms, delivering it by bike to No Cost Grocery Programs (NCGPs). These community-led programs distribute nutritious food to Denver communities facing barriers to food access.

We are dedicated to advancing health equity and addressing the social determinants of health for those experiencing food insecurity. Our mission is to foster healthier communities through a focus on food security, climate action, and social justice. We rescue and redistribute over 600,000 pounds of fresh, nutritious foods annually.
