Pueblo Seed & Food Company is looking for a sourdough baker who can support its baking operations for 30-40 hours per week at our facility in downtown Cortez, Colorado. Work includes sourdough bread baking, fermentation, baking sweets, cookies, pastries and other baked goods. Pueblo Seed & Food Company is a vertically integrated, certified organic farm, mill, and bakehouse with a straight-forward organic, wholegrain, and sourdough baking philosophy. They maintain a cooperative work environment and their diverse team works hard and produces high quality food.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional sourdough bread baking experience
- Previous experience with food safety and quality assurance preferred
- Excellent verbal communication and team-oriented collaborative skills
- Passionate about food systems work to restore community, environmental, and human health
