On Saturday, Oct. 4th, the Colorado Grain Chain had the pleasure of attending the third annual Rebel Bread Bake Fest!

Bake Fest was a vibrant celebration of baked goods, grains, and community, bringing together home bakers from across the metro area to share their incredible cakes, breads, pies, and more. The atmosphere was full of energy as hundreds of attendees sampled across categories, cheered on the bakers, and voted for their favorites alongside a panel of judges.

At the Colorado Grain Chain table, we connected with attendees eager to learn more about sourcing local flour for their home baking, aspiring cottage food entrepreneurs, and fellow vendors, including catching up with several of our Grain Chain members! True to the spirit of the event, many visitors tested their grain knowledge by identifying a selection of Colorado grown grains.

We're grateful to Rebel Bread for hosting such a joyful event and for creating space to celebrate the craft, creativity, and community around grains and baking. Looking forward to continuing these connections and can't wait for the next Bake Fest!
